Discover the Precision of A Series Infrared Temperature Sensors for Industrial Applications | Two-Color & Fiber Optic IR Sensors
A Series Features
The A series pyrometers are specially designed Infrared Temperature Sensors pyrometers for non-contact temperature measurement in demanding industrial environments. These pyrometers are highly accurate and compact by nature, featuring a stainless steel housing that ensures high operational safety in harsh conditions. The A250 and A450 models are single-color options, while the A250C and A450C offer two-color models. These pyrometers can be switched between single and two-color modes to accommodate different measurement needs.
For targeting, users can choose between laser sighting or through-the-lens viewfinder options. Additionally, the pyrometers provide various analog output options, including 0…20mA, 4…20mA, and 0…10V. The A150 model, part of the A series, operates at the near end of the infrared spectrum, making it an excellent choice for measuring ferrous and non-ferrous metals above 75°C, as the emissivity of unoxidized metal surfaces is higher at shorter wavelengths.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth V2.0 and RS-232/RS-485 serial interfaces. Furthermore, the pyrometers are compatible with user-friendly Infrasoft PC software, enabling easy communication and data management.
AL Series Features
The AL Series digital infrared pyrometers are equipped with thermopile sensors and are available in both short and long spectral ranges to meet a wide variety of application needs. The AL30 model is ideal for measuring non-metallic surfaces, painted, coated, or anodized metals. The AL390 model excels in applications that require measuring through flames and flue gases, while the AL514 is specifically used for measuring glass surface temperatures.
The AL45 model is a special pyrometer designed to measure flames and combustion gases, including CO2. The pyrometers in the AL series are configured in a four-wire form and offer analog output options of 4…20mA, 0…20mA, or 0…10V. Serial communication via RS-232/RS-485 is also available, and a laser pilot light ensures high-precision targeting. For ease of use, the AL series pyrometers are also supported by the Infrasoft PC software.
Fiber Optic Series Features
Fiber optic pyrometers are particularly useful in high ambient temperature applications that do not require cooling. The fiber optic cable and optical head can withstand temperatures up to 250°C, while the pyrometer itself can tolerate up to 70°C. One of the key advantages of the fiber optic series is that the models can be mounted close to the process, especially in environments involving electromagnetic fields, as the optics and fiber cables are free of electronics, ensuring that there is no interference from strong electromagnetic fields on the pyrometer.
The A250 FOPL and A450 FOPL are single-color models, while the A250C FOPL and A450C FOPL are two-color models. These pyrometers come with a laser pilot light for precise targeting. They offer user-selectable analog outputs of 4 – 20mA, 0 – 20mA, 0 – 10V, and are also equipped with USB 2.0 digital output, as well as Bluetooth V2.0 and RS-232/RS-485 serial interfaces. Fixed and variable optics options are available, making the fiber optic pyrometers versatile for various applications.
