Scanning Range
We are not using the physical scanner limits as scanning process limit switches. Because of that,
we are not covering the entire scanning range – eight hundred steps exactly by absolute symmetry
from right to left.
In most cases, we (or the user) set right and left virtual limits, creating a symmetrical scanning range. Sometimes, the scanner itself doesn’t install in the middle position or even from the side, so scanning sectors should be adjusted non-symmetrically.
To assist our customers, we are asking for the installation layout, target width, and position of the pyrometer. We will check/calculate the required distance so the customer can set “virtual” limits according to system requirements.
