Measuring the sharpening point is impossible because the disk hides the sharpening area; in addition, in the sharpening process, various sparks are coming out of the sharpening area, so measuring a spark is not possible. Therefore the solution is to measure a spot of sparks at the point closest to the sharpening place.
Pyrometer mounted on an adjustable arm and aimed in the area of most sparks density.
To obtain repeatable and accurate results, we will try to direct the pyrometer to the area with dense sparks.
The pyrometer we will use is of the “one wavelength” type, and to get good results, the measured object must fill the measuring area of the pyrometer.
