Choosing the right pyrometer
Measuring the aluminum profile temperature at the press exit with EX type pyrometer.
Customer can choose A5-EX or A5-S-EX for profile temperature measurements on the press exit.
On the Maintenance screen \ the Analytic Coefficients for the profile should be Dx=1.02; Dy= -0.032. It is the initial setting.
On-site, you may perform fine-tuning for best accuracy using a thermocouple and Dy offsetting.
Regarding Mounting:
A5-EX Pyrometer should be placed about 800-1000mm above the profiles and A5-S-EX at 800-1300 mm above the profile.
A5-EX – The operator should be able to move it easily for aiming at the profile
