Aluminum Temperature
Rapid response pyrometers that may measure the temperature distributio across the strip (line scanners) or X-Y simultaneously (thermal camera), are single-wavelength pyrometers
They cannot measure true temperature, only signal.
This signal may be recalculated to true temperature only for certain emission settings.
The emission of an aluminum strip depends on the alloy, the roll transition (thickness), and may also depend on the emulsion marks on the surface.
But you are looking for accurate measurements…
We offer a solution to these problems using a single point multi-wave pyrometer.
We have a line temperature scanner that is not fast relative to the speed of rolled strips.
We
If I place our scanner 4000 mm above the 1500 mm wide strip, the scanner will be able to scan it with a real temperature translation within 9 seconds.
In the meantime, the strip moving at a speed of V = 5m/sec will pass in 9 seconds and 45m! It means that we measure not across a strip, but along a diagonal of 45 m.
We suggest placing the scanner and moving it step by step from position 1 to position 9, each time leaving it for a certain time and entering data.
In this way a different temperature distribution is achieved along the strip in different places.
